WHO ARE WE

WE ARE A COMPANY WITH A VAST TRAJECTORY

The company was founded in 1978 as part of the Dutch company Mammoet Transport, an organization then belonging to the Nedlloyd group from the Netherlands. Later acquired by Colombian shareholders and renewed with the name MAXO.

We are the preferred service provider of specialized transportation, lifting and logistics projects in the Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, Energy, Mining and Heavy Industry sectors for Colombia, and the northern part of South America, Central America and the Caribbean.

We offer innovative engineering solutions that respond to the demands, trends and standards of our customers, both nationally and internationally, in a safe and responsible way towards the environment and the community.

MAXO IN LATIN AMERICA

Our project offices are strategically located in Central America and South America, where we provide extra-heavy and extra-heavy cargo transportation services with own equipment. At a national level we have offices in Panama, Guatemala and Nicaragua to serve the Central American region and the Caribbean.

We have operated in all the ports of Colombia like:

Cartagena, Santa Marta, Buenaventura, Puerto Bolívar, Puerto de San Andrés, Puerto Tolú Coveñas y en la región: Colon y Balboa (Panamá), Limón y Caldera (CostaRica), Corinto (Nicaragua), Puerto Cortes y Puerto Henecan pacifico (Honduras), Acajutla (Salvador), Puerto Santo Tomas y puerto Quetzal (Guatemala), Belmopán (Belice), esmeraldas y Guayaquil (Ecuador), Callao y Paita (Perú), LaGuaira, Puerto Cabello, Guanta, Puerto Ordaz (Venezuela).
